I am designing a new project. In the early infant stages of my process, I have a basic idea and then I go and get inspired. Which really gets the creative juices flowing, typically so much so, I wake up in the middle of the night to madly write down the ideas before I forget them.

For this particular project I am developing an idea that incorporates moss. I love the bright green moss that grows in between the cracks of a brick path or bits on a fallen tree in the woods. Oh, if I could only duplicate this moss...

A friend recommend I check out an amazing "home" store for inspiration. Well, if you haven't been to Sprout Home you need to go! They have 2 locations one in Chicago and one in Brooklyn and can also be found online. The Chicago location is owned by a very cool down to earth woman, Tara Heibel. It's the non-flower urban home store. Check out these artificial moss rocks! Oh, and this bird cage was to exquisite to pass up. Happy Mother's Day to myself!
