I just started working on a lighting project for a custom invitation designer's office. She requested an all white palette for the piece and a bit on the direction of the overall shape of the chandelier, but other than that, it is up to me. I plan to make an oversized light fixture about 4 feet in diameter (which will most likely hang in the conference area of her office) that will consist of an airy mass of leaf, cut flower, twig and bird shapes. These images are of the piece with just the reed structure and some of my texture and leaf experiment.
